That's sad. I was looking for a directory that would have all the Twitter accounts and video channels of the politicians in Oregon so I could follow them all. The only one I could find was Mayor Sam Adams of Portland Twitter, and his video channel. Shoot shoot shoot. Any other places to look?

It may be a different form factor, but I’ve had some good early discussions with a number of folks on how to bring it back, Jeffrey. Hopefully sometime in early January at latest.

@Dennis: My first preference is to use something that takes advantage of the Twitter API to be able to provide interesting data/stats/features including the follow button, RT button, joined date, etc.

If I can’t find a more robust platform, however, I’ll look at doing something like GovSM has done, using a sort-able spreadsheet format via Google Docs or MediaWiki. How would you envision a G+ page working?

Maybe a Google+ page could be used as a substitute if you could integrate it with Google Apps or Google Docs?

But I feel your pain — I wnet through something like that when DabbleDB died.
