Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi broke the news through a Tweet yesterday that she would reconvene the House next week from recess for a special vote – another first for Twitter in Government and a reminder of how much power can be carried in just 140 characters.

New British Prime Minister David Cameron swept into 10 Downing Street less than 90 minutes after Gordon Brown stepped down, and then his team went and changed social media IDs from “DowningStreet” to “Number10Gov.” Smart move?
